Choose Today Whom You Serve

I think about this scripture.

I think about all the events on the news. I hold concern for the church. I know not only is there those that are in Christ, but I also know there are some that are like Judas in the Church buildings. But I have faith that the Lord is the deliverer and redeemer. He knows the hearts of man better than I do or ever will. I am not worried about the events in the news. I believe the Lord is my provider and protector and I cast all fears aside and choose not to worry but hold faith. I know He knows my beginning and my end. I know that His path is complete and I choose to walk according to that. When He lead the Israelites in Exodus they followed the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit inside today I choose to follow to the promise land in Heaven. I choose to obey Him and Seek His will and Path. There is no guarantee of my tomorrow. There is no doctor, police or any worldly authority that can guarantee my outcome. But I know the Lord knows and will guide me. I can take medication after medication and they will not prevent my outcome. My life I choose to submit to the Lord casting fear aside for faith. There is no police that can protect me. I choose to cast all fear aside that God is my protector. Money cannot assure me that I will be fed. I choose to rely on the Lord. Cars cannot fully guarantee my safety from disaster. I choose to follow the path of the Lord whether on foot or by automobile. My husband cannot fully guarantee me he will be on earth to protect me. The Church cannot guarantee me their leadership staff or flock will be there. The churches, the prophets, the missionaries can scream from the mountains to humble yourself and submit to God in faith, but man ultimately has to choose whom they serve. Jesus already warned you cannot serve two masters. God and Money. The gods of this world, or our Holy Father in Heaven. The gods of this world and all those who serve them will be punished severely and proven their worthlessness and the mightiness of Jesus Christ . Today I need to stand firm in faith. Be completely humble. Pride and fear is our fall. Let our yes be yes and no be no.

Luke 21:19 By standing firm you will gain life. ³⁴"Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap. ³⁵For it will come upon all those who live on the face of the whole earth. ³⁶Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man."

John 10:7 Therefore Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. ⁹I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved.[a] He will come in and go out, and find pasture. ¹⁰The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

¹⁴"I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me ¹⁵ just as the Father knows me and I know the Fatherand I lay down my life for the sheep. ¹⁶I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. ¹⁷The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my lifeonly to take it up again. ¹⁸No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father."

²⁵Jesus answered, "I did tell you, but you do not believe. The miracles I do in my Father's name speak for me, ²⁶but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. ²⁷My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. ²⁸I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. ²⁹My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all[d]; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand. ³⁰I and the Father are one."

Matthew 7:13 "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. ¹⁴But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

¹⁵"Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16By their fruit you will recognize them.

²¹"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. ²²Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' ²³Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

The Wise and Foolish Builders
²⁴"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. ²⁵The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. ²⁶But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. ²⁷The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash."

Matthew 24:10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other,

2 Corinthians 5:7 We live by faith, not by sight.

By our eyes there is much deception, but though faith we will see the way. Pray and get humble and honest. Faith comes by knowing God is in control and that we have obeyed him and been completely honest with him and humble. I have to ask, where does your faith lie? Does it lie in the world, its gods, its medicines, its money, its government powers, its guns, etc, or does it lie in the word of God? The Word of God which says God is the Healer, provider, protector, etc? Let me ask you now, is blame in your heart? If suffering came to you would you blame or pray in faith knowing Gods outcome is complete and power? A prophet can speak, a church can sing praises and preach, but all and all Jesus is the shepherd and our faith rests in Him. Get completely honest with your heart. Don't blame but be an example as Jesus is. He denied Himself. Be willing to deny yourself. Be willing to follow in faith not by sight. We do not know the exact day or hour, but we know it is close.

The Lord is pouring His Spirit over His people. Get honest and humble. Be ready.
