Bible Study - Faith

Without faith you can't please God! It would be wise to exercise your faith by doing things such as prayer, fasting, acts of kindness, and the like. You aren't saved by works, but you will be rewarded and blessed for them in serving our Lord Jesus.

Psa 42:5 Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.
Psa 63:6 On my bed I remember you; I think of you through the watches of the night.
Psa 62:5 Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him.
Psa 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.
Jer 17:7-8 "But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him."
Matt 13:58 And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.
Peter walks on water to Jesus but sinks being afraid of the wind, but Jesus holds his hand and says - "Why did you doubt?" (Matt 14:25-32)
Matt 14:36 .. and all who touched him were healed.
Matt 21:21-22 Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.
Matt 24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
Romans 10:17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.
2Cr 5:7 We live by faith, not by sight.
Gal 5:6 .. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.
Heb 11:1 .. faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
James 1:22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.
