Bible Study - Wisdom

In the book of Ecclesiastes you will see Solom who was recorded as the wisest man whom ever lived (1 Kings 3:12) became the most foolish! He had everything he ever wanted and his conclusion after all his foolishness was: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. (Ecclesiastes 12:13)

For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.

1Cr 3:18-20 Do not deceive yourselves. If any one of you thinks he is wise by the standards of this age, he should become a “fool” so that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God's sight. As it is written: “He catches the wise in their craftiness”; and again, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.”
James 3:16-18 For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and ever evil practice. But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
