Get Saved

John 14:6
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. [NASB]

Gods nature is loveAnd so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. [NIV] meaning it does not and will not change. His love is unconditional and perfect. He created you for a love relationship with Himself which is the very purpose of your life. His love is not one sided, He wants you to love Him and worship Him. When you love Him you can trust and put faith in Him.

You can't fool yourself with artificial love. God's love must be revealed"All things have been committed to me by the Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those whom the Son chooses to reveal him." [NIV] to you, He is the initiator. You must ask Him to show you His love so that you may love Him for who He is. But first comes the conviction of your sin. The love of God goes beyond the days in the Bible, He is active in His creation and longs for you to love Him.

The problem is that you are condemned for your sin, already found guiltyIf I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. Now, however, they have no excuse for their sin. [NIV] -- you are headed towards destruction. In other words, you have sold yourself for your sins and your life of pleasure in the flesh. The only hope you or I have is in Jesus the Messiah who became our sin on the Cross and took our penalty. If you turn from your sin and receive Jesus through repentance you will have eternal life and be spared from the wrath of God. Are you willing to surrender?

He is more than a safe way out of this world. He is the author of your life and all creation, He is the way, the truth, and the life (Joh14:6)Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." [NIV]. The Lord has a unique purpose"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." [NIV] for your life but it does not come into existence until you receive Him. You need Jesus, His His Holy Spirit and God to Father you. He does not need you at all, but he wants you.

You must pick up your cross and follow Him (self-denial), this is a very hard sacrifice, but not impossible For nothing is impossible with God. [NIV] with God - It is worth "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." [NIV] it, there is no other way! God died in the flesh for you so you that might live, notice the word "might" is not "will", because you must be born-again and do what He does. (John 3:16) "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." [KJV]

Salvation in Jesus Christ

Holy Spirit Dove

Read the Bible and seek the face of God with all your heart, then wait patiently for Him! If you seek the Lord sincerely with all your heart, you will find Him. You will become a new creation when you receive Him - your own nature and ways will change, this is an amazing thing!

When you know God and your sins are wiped away you will suffer persecution and probably lose friends for His sake, the old things will not satisfy you. (Heb2:10) In bringing many sons to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the author of their salvation perfect through suffering. [NIV]

First, Repent

Repentance is a change of thought, a change of thought creates a change of actions.

Acts 17:30
..the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent [KJV]

Second, Believe

Acts 16:31
..Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. [KJV]

Third, Call On The Lord

Romans 10:13
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. [KJV]

Fourth, Confess Jesus

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. [KJV]

Forever, Obey God

Continue in the Faith and strive towards Holiness, this is why the Bible says to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. (Philippians 2:12)

You don't stop at a single prayer, you must grow and that is why Paul was able to say he finished the race.

2 Timothy 4:7
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.. [KJV]
